Marty G. Cain was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma and grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he studied Public Administration before graduating from the College of Law in 1991. He has practiced law in the Oklahoma city and Norman area since 1991.

Tamara Beam Cain

Tamara Beam Cain grew up in Okeene, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University and attained her BS in Human Environmental Sciences. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law in 1991. Tamara has practiced law in the Oklahoma city and Norman area since 1991. Tamara and Marty have two sons, Stephen Beam and Brooks Cain.

Mitch B. Janik

After a ten year career as a legal assistant at a litigation law firm in Oklahoma City, Mitch went back to school and earned a law degree from the University of Oklahoma.  After passing the Oklahoma Bar Exam in 2010, he joins the team as the Trust Funding Attorney.  Mitch has spent the last 30 years calling Northwest Oklahoma City his home, where he and his wife Katie currently live. 

Alana Lessly

Alana is the newest member of our service team.  She will be replacing Bonnie as our new Client Services Coordinator.  Alana grew up in Norman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Sociology.  We are excited to welcome Alana to Cain & Cain and look forward to her contribution to the team!

Cain & Cain's own legacy.

Just like you, we have our own story that is forming our legacy. Cain & Cain: Estate Planners for Life is a partnership between husband and wife attorneys Marty and Tamara Cain.  We endeavor to use our legal expertise to take a new approach to estate planning that serves the long-term needs of our clients. This desire came from our own experience in helping Tamara's father with an estate plan. Thousands of dollars later, we were given a thick set of papers that we quickly realized would be outdated within months. We knew there had to be a better way. After a little research, we discovered the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys through which we have been trained to approach estate planning as a dynamic and life-long process that centers around each individual's unique story. We have both practiced law for nearly 20 years and are excited to use our legal education and experience along with our specialized training in estate planning and legacy preservation to help you make the plans needed to ensure your legacy lives on.
